Had a repeat brain MRI in August for a lesion they found in January. Saw the neurosurgeon today and they’ve concluded it’s not a tumour but a small group of blood vessels called a haemangioma that is inconsequential and I’ve probably had forever

So I’ll take that and enjoy an expensive glass of red wine this eve

Congratulations. I have one too! It was found over 20 years ago as an incidental finding when I had labarynthitis. I’ll never forget the wait to find out what it was. One if the most worrying times of my life. Revel in the relief. X

Excellent news, congratulations! But it reminds me that I still haven't heard what the neuro team think about the brain aneurysm that showed up on my head MRI in February . . I guess they're not too bothered about it!

Wow what lovely messages from everyone! I’m really glad I posted on here!
It’s a terribly worrying thing to be told there’s some sort of abnormality in the brain and I’ve been worrying about it since January (although tried to keep that worry too myself as I have an 8 month old daughter). But the neurosurgeon put me totally at ease and told me to go and enjoy my life!

I’m very grateful for my good health and really savour it.
