McDonald’s for tea tonight, been a very long day!

What would your McDonald’s order be?

mused to be with apple pie - in my youth! Might have to revisit next time but I only get Maccies a couple of times a year

I love the McPlant! I didn't have McDonalds for years because there was nothing I could eat.

I have occasionally tried something new (chicken fiesta last week 🤮) but EVERY time it's never as good as my go to order and I'm annoyed with myself for not sticking to the standard!

Breakfast time: Sausage and egg McMuffin with a latte - I give the hash brown to DH
Lunchtime: sweet chilli chicken wrap meal with Sprite Zero
Dinner time: quarter pound with cheese meal with Sprite Zero and halloumi fries/cheese bites and apple pie

Black coffee. I've only been to a McDonald's 3 times in the last decade, and that's what I had each time.

Don't get me wrong, I can do crap takeaways - I had a KFC a couple of years ago and it was delicious - but my memory of McDonalds from when I was a teenager is that the burgers are disgusting, so I always had a FIllet of Fish. But even that doesn't appeal now.

This is mine too. I also need loads of ketchup.

Can someone explain the difference between a cheese burger meal and a quarter pounder with cheese meal please? They sound like the same thing to me, sorry if that's a thick question but not eaten a McDonald's for at least a decade so fear I'm somewhat out of touch! I'm guessing a value meal no longer costs £2.88 either?!

A cheese burger is different to a quarter pounder with cheese, in size of burger, type of bun, and toppings.

Mayo chicken legend meal with diet coke. Sometimes cheese bites, depending on what type they are. Don't like the chilli ones. Love the mozzarella...

I do like the chilli chicken wrap for a change the odd time

A large Diet Coke. That's it. Their soft drinks are the best. Apparently they have their own agreed formula for making up the soft drinks and it's run through chilled pipes.

When I used to eat red meat it was always a triple cheeseburger or a Big Mac.

Cheese burger is a little mini burger in a plain bun that you get for 99p or with the kids meals. Quarter pounder is as it suggested a bigger burger with more added extras

A cheeseburger is a sad little scrap of a thing gone in 2 bites.

I have Quarterpounder with cheese, medium fries, either coffee or hot chocolate.
