Ah. The coolness ladder. How I miss it.
It was a bit daft (cos the rest of these threads are just so serious!!!! ).
But we had a ladder of coolness, and people moved up or down it depending on my whims how cool the lyrics were.
Needtoknow was at the top, and was very, very, very happy about it. She built a little platform and everything.
But then there was an <ahem> "unfortunate incident" and she <ahem, ahem, ahem> fell off.
Totally her fault of course.
Things got a bit sticky.

And.... well.... the coolness ladder has been retired to the great shed in the sky.

Maybe one day it might return.....

Ok. I know I'm deeply sad/have too much time on my hands, but.

The coolness ladder first appears on thread 18. Roughly around page 22.
It's around Christmas time, and we're all very jolly (well, most of us are. There is one exception. But I think that poster has left now). I was smiling quite a lot re-reading it.

We're discussing our rankings on it on pg 32

Then by thread 20, things have all gone horribly wrong.

So thread 19 is where the <coughs> misdemeanor occurred.
But I couldn't find thread 19.
Have mnhq deleted it to protect future generations????
