These were the scenes outside hot and sunny Belfast City Hall earlier today as quite a few Mumsnetters joined thousands of other people in stopping the traffic for Noah Donohoe.

I'll post a few more photos too.

Shameful Shailesh tweeted this morning about A Level results day. I wonder if he spared a single thought for Noah, who was not here to sit his GCSEs, to get his GCSE results next week, his A Levels in two years or his place at University. Noah's dream was to study medicine because he wanted to help people as a doctor. Thanks to Shailesh and others, Noah is not getting justice, never mind his exam results.

Update today from Niamh Donohoe:
'Another day in KRW law, lots of information coming at us from all areas. Date for PII hearing has been set, however the man who claims to be "in possession of all the facts" & presides over Noah's inquest; the man who makes the final decision on the PII Certificate, will not face us once again. He has passed the buck to a High Court Judge. There is a definite pattern forming here. If we can continue to face & endure what we do & all this system throws at us, surely you can sit in court and carry out the duties bestowed on you as a Coroner of Northern Ireland.'

From Court News NI:
'A MAN who previously received a jail sentence for stealing schoolboy Noah Donohoe’s rucksack has now received a one month prison term after pleading guilty to theft from a pharmacy in Ballymena.
Daryl Paul (36), formerly with a Belfast address but now with an address listed as Maghaberry Prison, had stolen two Nicorette quick mist sprays worth £58 from Boots in the Harryville area of Ballymena on April 18, 2019.
The case was dealt with at Antrim Magistrates’ Court, sitting in Ballymena, this week.
Another court, last year, heard Paul tried to pawn a laptop owned by Belfast schoolboy Noah, while a major search for the teenager was ongoing.'

Isn't it just, @catandcoffee ?

Statement by Fiona Donohoe on the naming of the Lagan Gateway Bridge
“On behalf of Noah we are very humbled and grateful to the public, for their vote that the Lagan tow-path bridge be named after him.
It is a beautiful tribute and very fitting as Noah and I spent many a summer’s day walking that scenic route together.
That Noah’s name and memory will be given a permanent place in the heart of our city, is a touching and heartfelt tribute for which we will be eternally grateful”

Also from Fiona:
'Noah's great great grandfather was a lock keeper in our home town and so it adds more sentiment to the naming of the bridge beside the newly built lock gate. Noah loved the towpath walks. 💙❤⚡'
