What’s Your Favourite Takeaway?

Mine would have to be an Indian. I like Chinese but DH finds it quite boring so we only have it occasionally. I would love it if there was more choice locally eg Greek, Lebanese, Vietnamese, Thai. There’s a chippy on my parents’ village that also does Thai but when we had it a few years ago it was pretty dire! I love pizza but Domino's is our only option & it’s so expensive.

Indian's my favorite but it costs nearly twice as much as Chinese so we end up getting Chinese more often.

Indian. Always the same: chicken tikka tandoori with the little warm nappy bag of salad, poppadoms and chutneys, peshwari naan, and Bombay aloo.

Also have a ridiculously good sourdough pizza place near us. And am inordinately fond of a foil-wrapped build your own burrito. Fish and chips are best in a cafe by the sea on a rainy day, with a pot of tea, rather than takeaway.

Indian but also occasionally (hungover!)a really, really basic Chinese. Pancake roll, egg fried rice, chow mein and curry sauce with chips

Indian is my absolute favourite, when just considering the food.

In balance though my overall 'favourite' is Thai. Its by far the cheapest option for us - our £26 regular order feeds 5 with leftovers - and it also just feels healthier, less greasy and fatty than a Chinese or Indian. So on balance, I go for Thai.
