Until what age did your DC share a hotel room?

DH is insisting, and DC are happy with it, that they will share a room when we go on holiday. Until now we've always done one DC + one adult. They're 10 & 12, can't find anything against it in terms and conditions of hotel so assume it's allowed. But... how long before DD refuses to go in with DS and vice versa?

Mine will happily share now as adults if it were just for the length of a holiday.
Like a pp said, they would kip on the floor at University etc.

The title makes it sound like you think there is an upper limit for siblings sharing a room and that at some point it should stop.
Yes, this is what I'm wondering. Sorry for not being clear. Or not that it should stop as such but that they won't want to share a room for a week or two.

[I'm not 100% happy with them in a room together and us in another room, but they're happy to be together and DH thinks it's a perfectly normal thing to do]

As to sharing together they have always done that too although we're probably 8&9 before being in a separate hotel room.
