I don't know anything about wine, but want to give a case to a friend as a gift, half red and half white or a mix including rose and fizzy ones. All the wine websites seem to need to to choose the specific bottles and I haven't a clue!
If you know your stuff what 12 bottles would you send? I don't think my friend has particular preferences as such but I want it to be nicer than just a box of cheapy supermarket choices. My budget is probably topping out at 100 quid on thereabouts. I know that isn't super much for 12 bottles of nice wine. Maybe six bottles of something more pricey but decent?
