Pool / beach holiday - what might I have forgot to pack?

Flying on Thursday morning to Turkey for 3 weeks

I'm all packed for me, dh and ds (10) but what might I have left out?

Not been away for a few years!

Wow! We have loads of space so I might see if I can grab one on my travels 2m!

Hair brush and hair tie/clips. I've lost count of the number of times I've forgotten to pack a hair brush. 🙄
Comb for DH/DS.

Charger for electric toothbrush (if relevant).

Book(s)/kindle.

I've just bought loads of those tiny ones today. I've been watching Tiktoks of pool hair - although I'm dreaming, it'll be slapped up!

Toothbrush charger! I would have forgot! Added to the last minute shove in list

Where abouts are you staying op? Just being nosey we've been to Turkey quite a few times is it Antalya by any chance?

Both you and DH take photos of your passports and insurance details on your phone in case you lose them. Also, photos of suitcases and buggy (if you use one) in case airport loses them.

Which hotel? We were there 3 years ago 🌞

We're staying at Side Star Elegance. Playing it safe as we've stayed there before and loved it

@Workyticket I've bought antibiotics at Turkish pharmacies, so yes.

There are plenty of shops in Antalya, really no need to stress and pack everything including the kitchen sink. Especially if we're talking about inflatables or beach cover ups.

Eye mask, mini sewing kit, nail scissors, anti histamines, hats.

Isn't the point more that it's wasteful to buy things when on holiday if you already had them and could have brought them with you?

I don't want to spend time on holiday trailing round unfamiliar shops looking for things I could have brought from home instead of half the time buying things that are more expensive and/or not as nice as the things I already have. Then it's wasteful if you don't need the thing you bought.

Inflatables, body boards etc that are dumped after one holiday use are a real 'plastic waste' problem.

I even took washing pods and dishwasher tablets on my recent holiday as it saved buying a whole box of each when I got there. Why buy it there when you can take it with you?

Waterproof/ sandproof bags for phones for the beach. I found these very cute ones that had little floats attached to them in case they fell in the water! They were awesome!

Contact lenses/ reading glasses
Forgot mine once and recently friend forgot hers! Nightmare
