Pool / beach holiday - what might I have forgot to pack?

Flying on Thursday morning to Turkey for 3 weeks

I'm all packed for me, dh and ds (10) but what might I have left out?

Not been away for a few years!

Plug for the bath( I used to live in Turkey and often baths don't have plugs).

Something to put on mosquito bites.

Tweezers. I panic if I forget them on a weekend away, let alone 3 weeks (very jealous!).

And strange as it sounds I always wish I had an ‘old’ cover up or t-shirt with me ( for me and DC’s).

Something to slob about in, not to worry about suntan or ice cream stains, something DC’s could swim in if needed. I never want to spoil my new clothes.

It may need to. Some checks are quite strict.
Do you have a lip balm as well?

We're very lucky. We got married last year at the shit end of covid and didn't get a honeymoon so this is a real treat!

Yes if you're taking it on board it will need to be in a liquids bag (clear, resealable bag max size 20x20xm - I use a small press and seal freezer bag)

No advice on what to pack but we split clothes evenly over all the bags incase one went missing, as thought chances of all going was slimmer

If you are taking three cases, mix up the contents so that you each have some clothes in each one. Then if a case goes missing, there won't be someone without any gear ...

I usually take a travel deodorant in my liquids bag and a mini hand sanitiser gel.

Have you thought about security checks?

For example are your shoes easy to take on and off?
Nothing worse than being stuck behind someone fiddling with the 10 straps on thier fancy sandals 😁

I've thoroughly enjoyed packing

I packed into cubes whixh means it's been so easy adding bits in and shifting stuff around to even out the weight

I'm generally quite a light packer. 3 smallish cases between us 😀

I'm wearing trainers - I have a swelling condition so need to wear travel stocking 🙈

We are beyond lucky with ds - he will eat literally anything (except mushrooms and eggs) and we've been to this hotel before

He's looking forward to the food more than anyone else 🤣
