Anyone else not that hot?

I was expecting to be dying today but am fine. Got a fan upstairs but not even feeling hot enough to bring it down yet. Just seems like a normal sunny day

It’s 30 at 8.20pm in the middle of the fens. I’m in an air conditioned Airbnb though so no I’m not that hot🙂. I need to take the dogs out though and they’re barely coping with a quick trip around the garden.

I'm in the red zone, where it's been 36 degrees odd outside.
Indoors with closed curtains and pottering about, fine. I haven't done nothing but I haven't done anything too strenuous.
We even had a shower of rain about 20 minutes ago.

It's 30 degrees in my top floor flat and vile. I had the windows open all night to let I cooler air, closed them at 8am along with the curtains and hung throws over the curtains to try to keep the heat out. It felt quite cool at that point but by the time I got home from work at just before 6pm it was 30 degrees in here. I have a fan pointed at me with a frozen bottle of water in front of it but that's not helping much. I'm about to put a wet flannel on the back of my neck to try to cool me down.

I'm in the garden. It's cooling down now and it's ok but the upstairs of my house is like an oven. I'm dreading going to bed later.

Still 33 here and not due to drop to less than 24 tonight.

It's better than I expected, and I'm in one of the really hot areas, and live in a small very hot flat, and don't handle heat well.

And yet, I haven't suffered too much this time, although admittedly I haven't had to move much.

I think it is much less humid than it sometimes is during heat waves.

32 in Dublin and I'm melting, even with a fan on top of me. Menopausal flushes aren't exactly helping.

Late 30's here, it has been hot but office and home are OK.

It's not been too bad up here. Not looking forward to tomorrow though because I think it will be hot overnight.

Since coming home I'm so hot and hoping we can all sleep and the dogs don't die even though I'm trying to cool everyone down - half joking - proper hot.

It was 30+degrees yesterday in my area, but a beautiful day. Opened a couple of windows in the house, & drew the curtains, but otherwise no different to normal. A catnap in the garden in the afternoon and a lovely 8 hours sleep overnight too, so I really don't understand all the fuss.

25 at 6am. Due to hit 40 today

It was 36C yesterday but felt fine. Spent the day outside and sunbathed for a while at lunch, felt lovely!

It's 7.47 and absolutely roasting already 😅

There's a nice breeze here at the moment so I'm ignoring advice and have flung all the windows and doors open. It looks like it'll cool down a bit after 6pm and won't be as hot as last night outside but depends on how much heat I can keep out of the house as once it's hot inside it's hard to get cool.

Definitely looking at getting a portable AC unit.

Im melting. It's 38C and the blinds are all shut. Fans on but WFH in my kitchen is a sweaty experience.

I’m mostly staying inside so feel fine with the fan on. I’ve popped in and out briefly to hang washing out and it’s unbearable outside. I went for a run this morning at 7:30 and it was already 22 degrees but I don’t mind that temp. It’s currently 36 degrees here in Yorkshire so not the sort of weather I’d like to go out in!

39 degrees here but there will be people posting that it's not too hot.

East Midlands here. It’s 37 degrees outside but I’m in the house in shorts and have just fetched a lightweight blanket as I’m feeling chilly 🤣
