There are lots on interesting usernames and I often wonder what they mean.

Mine is from the Rivers of London series, skygarden Tower is a made up Tower block in London which focuses magic.

What does your username mean? (Obviously only it isn't outing).

My dog follows me out to the shed, he's a black dog so I don't always realise he's done this, and lock up when I'm done . It's only when we hear him barking we realise ......DEXTERSLOCKEDINTHESHEDAGAIN Smile

Car Share. The Smurf. Such a brilliant line!

deedledeedledum · 17/07/2022 18:40

Mine is 'everything I tried was taken so I made some shit up'

YanTanTetheraPetheraPimp · 17/07/2022 19:08

Mine, according to Wikipedia is:
Yan Tan Tethera or yan-tan-tethera is a sheep-counting system traditionally used by shepherds in Northern England and some other parts of Britain.
I first heard an old shepherd using it in a market near Hawes and I loved it!

Northernsouloldies · 17/07/2022 19:08

A sub genre of Northern soul. 😁

CandyCaneLane0 · 17/07/2022 19:21

Favourite yankee candle

QuietlyWonderful · 17/07/2022 19:41

I start the week full of good intentions - and lose momentum by Tuesday. But at least I'm starting from a good place.

I love the gentleness in that :)

LuvMyBoyz · 17/07/2022 22:01

I adore my husband and two sons.

Decidualcast · 17/07/2022 22:13

Expelled uterine lining in the shape of the uterus.

ParvuliThankYouDebbie · 18/07/2022 00:13

This. Always cheers me up, DDs all time favourites too ♥️

zaza687 · 18/07/2022 00:15

Zara the shop

Titsywoo · 18/07/2022 00:18

My grandad used to call people random nicknames. He was already developing dementia when DD was born and for some reason he called her this a few times. It tickled me and became my username after he died at the age of 103 seven years ago 🥰

MayDaze · 18/07/2022 00:30

I name change frequently. For this it was May Day Bank Holiday and i am generally in a daze, so I liked the play on words.

RannisLord · 18/07/2022 00:32

I got the Age of Stars ending in Elden Ring

MayDaze · 18/07/2022 00:37

NoShitHemlock · 17/07/2022 15:20

A play on "No shit, Sherlock" cos I thought I was being a smart arse and I would get called Hemlock. Turns out anytime I am referenced I get called "NoShit".

It's my own fault really.....

😂😂😂

stillvicarinatutu · 18/07/2022 00:51

I was vicarinatutu then deregged due to ex stalking me online

So now I'm stillvicarinatutu

It's a smiths song .

Bunty55 · 18/07/2022 00:53

I was called this when I was a baby by everyone and I love it

N1C · 18/07/2022 00:54

I'm interested in connecting with my local community and perhaps I was naively hoping to find some of my locality on here。。。

Libre2 · 18/07/2022 00:59

DS has type 1 diabetes. The Libre 2 was the cunning piece of tech we used to measure his blood glucose. Except we’ve moved onto an even more cunning piece of tech called the Dexcom now so I am a bit behind.

@ponygirlcurtis - was looking out for you on here - I always smile when I see your name. There is also another poster called staygoldponyboy, I think. And I have feeling there is a Mrssodapopcurtis somewhere. I was utterly obsessed with The Outsiders throughout my teens!

@Creepypapermultipack - loved Nandor!

Technophobic · 18/07/2022 01:01

I don’t like techno.
Not ambient techno, hardcore techno, dub techno, acid techno, bleep techno, industrial techno, minimal techno, none of it.
Not even toytown techno.

SchoolNightWine · 18/07/2022 01:21

Mine is wishful thinking

Stravaig · 18/07/2022 01:34

Mine is Scots, meaning to ramble, roam, wander. With connotations of aimlessness, or adventure.

Seems apt for Mumsnet ... and tethers my heart to the wilds.

Konyeshno · 18/07/2022 01:54

'Of course' in Russian

It's Cumbrian mainly. IIRC, which i probably don't, there's a hovvera and bovvera in there before you get to ten!
