There are lots on interesting usernames and I often wonder what they mean.

Mine is from the Rivers of London series, skygarden Tower is a made up Tower block in London which focuses magic.

What does your username mean? (Obviously only it isn't outing).

Mine's meant to be amusing ... and I'm keen on tea.

Line of duty reference when Thandie Newton misread a reference number on a piece of evidence that eventually led to her downfall. Pretty obscure I guess but it was for a LoD name change special.

Been too busy to change it back

SirChenjins · 17/07/2022 12:45

Search engine - in my house it seems I’m expected to know everything, esp the location of other people’s belongings

MaudieTipstaff · 17/07/2022 12:50

From one of my favourite books, The Travels of Maudie Tipstaff by Margaret Forster.
It's quite a new username.

Kione · 17/07/2022 12:51

Mine is my name in a dialect

piratehugs · 17/07/2022 12:52

Needed a new username in a hurry. Looked up for inspiration. There was a toy pirate sitting on a shelf next to a birthday card with the word HUGS on it.

Love all the different names. Some are obvious, others I would never have guessed.

Entirely factual due to menopause and disability.

GrimDamnFanjo · 17/07/2022 12:59

A play on the name of a popular pc adventure game....

User12398712 · 17/07/2022 12:59

I can't be arsed to think up an amusing user name.

IllDoItButOnlyForTheAttention · 17/07/2022 12:59

Mine are nearly always TV-related, as I watch a lot of TV. This one's from 30 Rock. If you know the show, you can probably guess the character who said it Grin

ElizabethinherGermanGarden · 17/07/2022 13:00

Elizabeth Von Arnim novel that I love. I also wanted one with a normal woman's name in it that it could be shortened to. My name's not Elizabeth and I've no connection to Germany.

RichardMarxisinnocent · 17/07/2022 13:00

Mine means I believe Richard Marx when he sang that he left Mary safe and sound by the river.

Fabulous UN.

Mine is an unsubtle reminder that Rishi Sunak is as rich as Croesus. I NCed a few weeks ago but changed back again once Boris finally got kicked semi-out.

Jackanackanory · 17/07/2022 13:02

Mine’s an Alan Partridge quote.

WolverineBluey · 17/07/2022 13:02

A conflation of one of my favourite 90s metal albums and favourite kids' shows Grin

ODFOx · 17/07/2022 13:02

I just swapped the D for Dear into x for whomever.
