I've just had my new robot hoover delivered. Thanks to the thread on amazon prime day. I love it :) So nice mumsnetting and listening to it cleaning for me. I feel like I should of got one years ago. What other fantastic labour saving devices would you recommend? I have a dishwasher already.

Godfrey forgets one of my bedrooms though! Keep an eye on yours!

I’ve got a Kenwood stand mixer which is a good machine anyway but particularly labour saving is the food processor attachment with different blades including different grades of grating. It makes grating eg carrot ridiculously easy, literally just push it down the tube and it’s done and way less mushy than doing it by hand somehow.

I would say a heated clothes horse is my next favourite item. And having my shopping delivered if that counts.

Yes shopping delivered and as much stuff as possible brought on Amazon subscribe and save.

For example I order dog food one time then put it on a subscription so it's delivered every month with me even thinking about it.

Robot window cleaner. They do inside and out.
Robot curtain opener. Remote controlled.

I’ve decided to reinstate my Tesco delivery saver. Robot window cleaner sounds amazing!

@womaninatightspot which one did you go for. I almost bought a eufy g30 when our friends advised against it as it doesn't return to hoovering once self charged. Does your one do this?

Robot window cleaner!!!' I want one. I want sparkling windows all the time!

I'm not hugely fussed for gadgets but I'm crazy about my slow cooker. Makes enough to have the same meal the next day.

Yesterday we had chilli with rice and I made guacamole.

Tonight an easy leftovers dinner- the rest of the chilli is going in tacos with lettuce and sour cream.

Also really easy to cook everything without the salt and chillis and portion some out for baby then let it cook some more with them in for us.

Online shopping, especially weekly supermarket shipping

Irrigation system for the hanging baskets and garden generally, runs on a timer. Brilliant.

Smart sockets and switches through the house. If a light has been left on anywhere, I can turn it on from my phone rather than going downstairs.
