Can I return this and get a refund?

I bought a handheld vac from Argos earlier today as the reviews seemed great, however I don’t think the vacuum itself reflects that.
I still have my receipt- would I be able to get a refund?

I’m unsure wether they would take it back as it’s been used - but it was only after using it I’ve realised it’s no good

Read the "if your not happy" declaration on your receipt.

Legally, not unless it’s actually faulty. But they might have different terms and conditions over and above the law.

Ime as a consumer & a supplier argos are pretty good with returns but legally if it's not faulty they don't have to take it back & they can repair or replace rather than refund i think but check that coz I might be out of date.
