Dd5 is turning 6 next week and I have absolutely no idea what to get her. She wants surprises so she won’t tell me what she wants apart from a certain barbie doll.

she’s girly, loves her babies & Barbies. She has loads though.
help :(

6 years old?
Lego and books.

The end.
No 6 year old needs anything else.

Could you do a day out just the two of you? Dress her up and take her to get barbie nails (a pink manicure at a salon or similar?) then go for a shop for a new barbie doll and a fancy afternoon treat (like a mini afternoon tea or something?).

Barbie and a day out.

Maybe a jigsaw or craft stuff.

Do you have a place near you that does little makeovers? We have one near us where the little ones can have their hair done, glitter added, nails done etc.

Big hits here for recent DD 6th birthday were scented ice cream kinetic sand kit (?!), Playmobil swimming pool and hotel.

I bought a fashion wheel for my friends barbie made daughter. She liked being able to design dresses on it.

One of the best gifts I bought over the years was a big plastic box which I filled with crafting materials.

Lots of tubes of glue, coloured paper, paints, foam paper, glittery things to glue on, cut out men, jewellery making.

It was fantastic when friends would come over and I could take it out for them to sit around glueing.
Hours of fun.

Buying individual crafting bits was far less expensive than sets.

They were still using it until they were about 11/12.

They found it relaxing.

I was eyeing up a Barbie camper van craft kit for my own DD's birthday in Tesco the other day (like a big cardboard box shaped like the Barbie camper but full of colouring and craft things).
