Hello,
My 3 week old had her 1st appointment at audiology yesterday in which they have said she has hearing loss but don't know what level yet.
I've been very upset and found this difficult to accept. I have spoken to colleagues and family who have been positive and reassuring.
Can anyone give me advice or does anyone have a similar experience? How accurate are the tests?
My daughter is going back for her next appointment to retest in 10 days and get moulds for hearing aids. I'm hoping the hearing aids help and do the trick in the meantime, I'm just feeling anxious and nervous as this is the unknown for me.
Any advice or personal experiences and reassurance would be greatfully received.
