End of year gifts for class

Hi, has anyone got a good idea for what to get a year 3 class as an end of year gift without breaking the bank? I've always taught younger children so I'm a bit stuck for ideas.

The works do £10 books for £10, so £1 per book. Educational gift plus not all children have books at home.x

I've done a little silver charm keyring based on the name of our class. Ordered the bits in eBay.

And billed the school. If they want me to buy end of year presents they can pay for it.

@overmydeadbody damn right

@Barleysugar86 thank you. My friend and I (who I job share with) were thinking about something like that as it's environmentally friendly which is a big focus in our school. I also thought about bee bombs but not all the children have gardens.

@wednesday32 thank you. I will have a look at The Works. I've always bought books for my previous classes there but they were younger.

Wow didn’t know the teachers getting the kids a gift was a thing! Seems rather generous.

You could get a little pot of bubbles each ‘you blew me away this year’
or a coloured pen each ‘thank you for making this year so colourful’

I'd get them all an ice lolly.

I'd go for a pot of bubbles. They really won't need anything though.

Buy an ice lolly or ice cream! My Dd was delighted with that. Teacher gave a choice the week before, took a list and they had them at break on the last day of term. That's plenty and not something else to store.

As a parent I would love this! And so would my child.

Our school do those long sticks of big bubbles with a nice message attached with curly ribbon. Always goes down well and the kids can use them over the summer. Books are tricky because of different tastes/reading levels and some may already have the book at home.

Something small, like coloring calendars or funny pens?
