Trigger warning
please help me here. So my friend who is in her late thirties fell pregnant and is now around 24 weeks. She only told us all after13 weeks just to be on the safe side. We were all was very excited for her and 2 weeks back spoke about baby shower, names and shopping etc. Now after the latest scan it looks like baby might be having some major developmental problem and things are not in her favour with doctors suggesting termination at 26 weeks. I am absolutely devastated for her … my heart is breaking into pieces as I know how badly she wanted this baby . Both of them were thrilled and I am now frozen and don’t know how to support her or even talk to her after hearing all this from her husband. Please tell me how I can support her best as I am feeling very emotional and Can’t think straight.
