I love to have fresh flowers in the house. I have avoided lillies since dads funeral (I sweer every Lilly on the country was in the church - I couldn’t even get any for his wreath).
I usually have roses but they’ve have been really disappointing recently - all limp in a day or so.
So after 20 years I tried lilies. Oh they are beautiful and lasted well over a week looking gorgeous - but the smell, oh the smell! I have just given them to my neighbour because I couldn’t stand it any more. The whole place reminds me of a funeral parlour.
So - any suggestions for some nice flowers that last and don’t stink the place out?
it’s a shame because I remember planting bulbs with dad every year and lilies were ones that he loved.
