Hitting foam golf balls in garden net

So I was wondering - my dh has a golf net in the garden and hits balls (foam) roughly 3 times per week for a couple of hours. We are surrounded by neighbours - never had a complaint but I am a bit 🙄 and worry they are quietly seething - I mean of course they can hear them it's a massive thwack! Do you think it's fine and it's just part and parcel of living in close quarters? The wind chime post got me thinking.

Can’t say as it would bother me but I’m not particularly noise sensitive.

Ah that's great!

Depends on the neighbours. I quite like the sound of kids playing and people cutting grass etc. I think a couple of hours of loud thwacking is probably irritating some neighbours though. But unless it’s at unsociable hours it’s something most people will just put up with.

Would bother me. But im used to the people behind who play loud music 9am till 9pm 7 days a week. They even leave it playing when not there! Last week the CD was jumping for a good hour!
And when I say loud its bloody loud.
All complained and got no where!
I love the sound of kids playing, gardening, builders etc

Would drive me insane
but it’s up to you what you do in your own garden
