What soap do you use at the kitchen sink for your hands?

My mum has asked me to get her some hand washing soap for the kitchen. She normally has liquid soap but I have Nesti Dante bar soap. What do you use and what is best avoided? I can't get to anywhere like tkmax or b&m/home bargains but know people often says about soaps from there. It needs to be online or from a small Asda/boots/Superdrug/co-op/pharmacy. Thank you!

Carex aloe vera - the green one. The only liquid soap that doesn't make my skin crack. I buy the refill pouches.

I may have to leave MN after this confession but I use Bayliss and Harding White Tea & Neroli cos it smells lovely and more importantly the bottle matches my worktops!

L’Occitane liquid soap, then buy refills. If I couldn’t get that I’ve had method.

I use the Ecover camomile washing up liquid in the pump dispenser bottle the Method washing up liquid comes in. I refill.

I find you can use the pump to dispense a tiny bit that is excellent for a hand wash.

Having the same bottle for washing up means I only have one bottle on my small kitchen counter.

I find Ecover isn't harsh like other products.

But what do you wash your hands with after handling raw food ect?

The bathroom is on the same floor as the kitchen, two paces away.

I haven't found a bar of soap which is not drying out my hands. I find them absolutely unpleasant and even most liquid soaps are not great.

If Lush would do a jelly like they do the shower jellies I would jump on it.

Any soap containing an oil should be fine, honestly, or any that says moisturising. Liquid soap if such a new invention. It's one of the easiest plastics to stop using, plus it's mostly water so there's the environmental cost of transporting water around unnecessarily.

Bayliss and Harding, the grapefruit one as I adore the smell.

Nothing as we don't wash hands in the kitchen.

Don't you wash your hands when you cook?

Hugasauras · 13/07/2022 09:08

Method foaming stuff is really nice and encourages DD to wash her hands more often!

RoseDog · 13/07/2022 09:11

I currently have a carex "cherry on top"

GladysRags · 13/07/2022 10:14

@CuriousCatfish Yes, but in the sink of the bathroom next to the kitchen.

Same here. Plus we're veggie so no meat germs etc.
