Whiskey

Doggydarling · 12/07/2022 13:45

His religion is irrelevant, stick in whatever you would for any guy of a similar age.

missymarrk · 12/07/2022 13:46

What's a naice biscuit?

A distant relative of naice ham

I was going to say fudge. Maybe a religious biscuit? Those Easter biscuits? A religious bookmark?

BeanAnTae · 12/07/2022 18:33

Oatcakes, chutney, preserves.

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 12/07/2022 18:34

Tea bags
Maybe a book token?

KittyCatsby · 12/07/2022 18:36

Crackers , Chutneys , Marmalade .

StillSmallVoice · 12/07/2022 18:39

My experience of Catholic priests would suggest whiskey.

Unless they are Anglo-Catholic Anglicans, in which case gin.

eggandonion · 12/07/2022 18:40

My husband had a priest friend who used to get marmalade from nuns, which he passed on to me.🙂
Maybe some cake would be nice.

Remainiac · 12/07/2022 18:43

Cheese. Booze. IME priests are often smokers so cigarettes / cigars. Fruit cake (I’m imagining he’s middle aged).

Skinterior · 12/07/2022 18:45

Def whiskey, and then all the goodies they just can't afford. Decent tea, biscuits, chocolates, decent jam, good cheese, wine, book tokens; anything really.

MenaiMna · 12/07/2022 18:46

Don't limit yourself to food!

I sent mine a cream tea hamper. It went very well lol

GreenFridge · 12/07/2022 18:47

What he does for a living is irrelevant, surely?

We got a gift hamper recently that had good wine, chutneys, jams, marmalade, biscuits, cheese crackers, salad dressing, an aged balsamic vinegar etc.

LubaLuca · 12/07/2022 18:49

How old is he? I think standard treats you'd give to any man of his age. Stick a house plant in if you don't want it to be all edibles.

My great uncle was a Benedictine monk, there was a definitely a pack of fags chucked in ever parcel.

Mumsnut · 12/07/2022 19:00

Stick to the booze

AffIt · 12/07/2022 19:03

Go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on now.

BeanAnTae · 12/07/2022 19:04

Well a teapot and cosy would work then!
