Amazing Barcelona hotels?

Can anyone recommend a lovely Barcelona hotel, up to £180 a night, in Eixample or Gracia?

We want to be in walking/metro distance of Gothic Q but not right in it.

You'd have to check the price/location but we stayed at SB plaza Europa, it was really lovely-roof top pool, next to a lovely shopping precinct and stones throw from a metro stop.

So that's out near Montjuïc, how long did it take on the metro to get to the GQ?

We enjoyed our stay here a few years ago. I was a little disappointed with the room to start with but we spent so little time there that it didn't matter. The location was lovely, the breakfast was good and we spent one afternoon having lunch by the rooftop pool.
