Gran Canaria location suggestions please

We have been to all the Canary Islands bar Gran Canaria.

can anyone recommend nice resorts? We will get a villa with pool and would like it to be in a quiet area. We’ll most likely hire a car so in the countryside is not a problem. it will be 4 or 6 adults in our party.

we like to go to the town for dinner, or alternatively to village taverns to sample traditional food.

Puerto do Mogan is lovely, but I don't know how many villas there are, as it's only a small place. It's got lots of nice restaurants though and small, cosy feel to it, unlike the big, modern resorts of the south coast.

Another one for Puerto de Mogan. We stayed at the Cordial Mogan Playa, a very quiet resort with two big pools, which I think does have some villas attached.

ive been to melonores/maspalmas - an upmarket but rather soulless holiday destination. Also been to Puerto de Morgan which is a lovely, pretty little town with lots of nice restaurants. I think you can probably guess my preference!

We went to Mogan at Easter and I agree with the consensus. We stopped at the Radisson Blue though so can’t advise on villas! I recommend Bish Bash Bosh for lunch which is a sandwich place next to the big(ish) supermarket which I think was called Dino (it had a cartoon dinosaur on the side)

Love Puerto de Mogan. Have stayed at both the Cordial and Radisson.
