Indoor birthday party in the heat.

Got an indoor party booked for Dd at the weekend. Forecast 25 here, not as high as other areas but still hot.

it's in a community centre with an entertainer, thankfully has got an outdoor play section if needed.

Hopefully it won't be too hot with the doors open, the windows to the room is quite shaded as there is some kind of shady smoking area outside with a roof so might prevent some heat getting in.

I am panicking though. Will take plenty of water for everyone. Probably buy bottles of water for parents if wanted rather than the tea and coffee I planned and entertainer as the bar will be shut at the time of day we've booked it.

there is a fridge available but no freezer for me to use else I would have bought ice pops etc. But I'm thinking maybe buy a melon which is refreshing.

thankfully it's only a 3 min drive away from home so the food will remain fresh and won't be sat on the car for long

any other tips??
