It’s a rant really. I know they can do what they want on their own property
but every day they smoke outside, in the evenings it’s chain smoking for 2-3 hours a night with constant smoke that whole time.
in the summer it’s the entire day from around 8am-11pm I’d say at least 2 cigarettes an hour.
They love gardening so they move from the front to the back garden throughout the day so I can’t just shut the windows at the front/ back of the house.
they’re a bit nosy and intrusive but otherwise friendly, so I don’t want to make a big deal out of it by saying anything. But I just find it so annoying that I can smell smoke all day if I open my windows. I’m pregnant so probably being a bit more precious about the second hand smoke, but I wouldn’t stand next to people smoking normally, never mind whilst I’m pregnant, so It seems crazy that I’ll be working in my office with someone smoking basically just under the window all day.
I’ve ended up shutting all doors and windows the last few days whilst it’s nice out, which makes it stuffy and gross too.
