Any ideas for activities in London with my 3.5 year old? Going to be pretty warm next week and we don't have a garden

The fountains at the Southbank Centre are great, then you could picnic/ice cream in Potters Field Park with a view of Tower Bridge. Always loads going on down there. There's the roof garden too in the QE centre.

Or the fountains at Granary Square are good too. The V&A has a nice cafe, again with fountains. Or any of the big parks have plenty of shade and space to run around.

Not sure where you live but Freightliners City Farm in Islington is lovely, and right next door is Paradise Park which has a nice little play park with water fountains.

This would work! We are north London

Play cafe with air conditioning for when it gets too hot

I'd second the fountains at Kings Cross.
