How long after having covid did you get a negative LF test?

I’ve heard of people still testing positive weeks later!

Obviously the tests are not that accurate so do you rely on a negative result before resuming normal life?

I was watching BBC news a few months ago and they were interviewing a virologist who said regardless of the guidelines if your are still testing positive then from her point of view you can still spread the virus ,I guess at this point people have to make their own decisions I tested positive yesterday if I' test negative and feel fine on Wednesday than I will take it it's over .

Just stop all testing - it is pointless & not required. Your child is just trying to skive off school!

Definitely an element of this 😂

@Kenneldogsrock you isolated until you got a negative result?

I did until day 11 and stayed in the house - although the guidance says you can stop at day 10 as the likelihood of infecting others is very small. To be honest I didn’t have the energy to go out but was desperate for some air and exercise at the same time!

You don't have to keep children off , unless they feel too unwell to attend
