Bars in London

Hoping for some Mumsnet wisdom.

Looking for suggestions for bars in London that are good for a first date. Around the Soho area and London Bridge area. Or anywhere central ish really, but somewhere that feels like it's worth a trip into town for if that makes sense! As I don't live in town.

Depends on your budget. My all time favourite is Artisian at Langham Hotel (regents Street) There is funky place called Purl in Marylebone area if you are into unusual/inventive presentations.

I like Christopher's martini bar.

What’s the budget? What sort of vibe, decor? I like the various Mr Fogg’s places, nice quirky talking point for a date.
