He's massively tall but only 10.5 yr can I give him 1tablet? Will that year and a half cause some massive damage? I've no calpol in the house .

Thanks in advance

Yes. I would. Our 8 year old is the height and weight of a 12 year old. In an emergency I once gave her half a paracetamol tablet. Pain went and she was fine.

Are they 200 mg tablets? If so yes as the Nurofen medicine is 100 mg per 5ml and for 9 year olds it’s 2 x 5ml

Check the dose of the pill against the dose required at that age

Thanks so much for replying. Yes 200mg. Should I give him two or just one? He's woke up with sore head and of course not a drop of calpol in the house 🙄

1 tablet

I think the dosage for a 10 year old is 200mg, so just one tablet

smallfluffy · 09/07/2022 09:19

Thanks @Inmy40 I appreciate that
