I'm up, the washer's on, and I'm drinking my first cuppa of the day in my spot at the kitchen table.

I'm going to peg the washing out when it's finished, wash up the few pots, then get the girls up.

Dd2 needs new tights so we're off to town for those (hopefully the last bloody time this year!), and will probably have a wander round the market too. With hindsight, it would have been nice to go to Clifton Park maybe with a picnic 🤔

When we get in dd2 wants to make pizza dough, then her praying mantis' enclosure needs cleaning after her moult on Weds and we'll feed the mantis. Dd1 will hide upstairs 🤣 she likes to look when Pancake's inside her house.

I'll crack on with a couple of minor sewing repairs later on then flake with homemade pizza and 🍷.

I have Covid and feel horrendous so will be napping or reading. DH has just recovered so he’s decorating. We’re supposed to be in Norfolk for the weekend and should have seen Bryan Adams last night.

I'm feeling very lucky today. On holiday in Ireland , first visit here from UK. It is absolutely beautiful, weather cool and dry. Off on a road trip to Donegal and to see Slieve League cliffs and eat too much!

Spent the last two days at the beach. Home now. I've a small assignment to complete. Then we are heading to a match. Might make homemade pancakes first to fill them all up. We will likely get a pub dinner. Unusual for us but it will be late getting home (3 hour round trip)

We’re off to an engagement party for our good friends later.

We’re in a hotel that looks nice, but the bathroom is a big grotty and the toilet doesn’t flush so I’m building up enthusiasm for a shower.

Well, Dd, woke up very early, so is tired and the shouting and crying started already, so today’s original plans will happen and more of a chill today. Today Dh will cut the back and front garden and I’ll nip to the shops with Dd to get the food shopping. We’ll have bbq for dinner, Dd can play in the pool and garden and have an early night.
Tomorrow (hopefully!) we’ll go on a boat ride at a beautiful lake and Dd can play in the lake with her fishing net and in the evening, bbq marshmallows and picnic at the beach and sunset swim in the waves with Dd.
V jealous of all the people seeing Elbow/going to festival type places etc!

I’m on the sofa with my second latte but will start the day: mostly family time, cleaning, batch cooking for next week and then studying for my masters!

Kids will be out in the afternoon with DH look forward to some quiet!

DP is at his mums helping her with a few jobs so I’m still in bed but will have to get up and make my own coffee (sigh!)
DS1 is downstairs watching TV, DS2 is still asleep.
I’m going to drag them both out with me to walk the dog shortly and then wheb DP and his mum get here later we’re going to a BBQ at my mum and dads with the rest of the family (there’s a lot of us) so I need to make a few sides for that before we go.
DS2 has a photoshoot later for his headshots which will prevent me starting on the Prosecco at the BBQ too early which is a good thing!

Unfortunately working as it’s beautiful weather here in Cornwall. I did a late shift last night & really struggled ( we don’t have air con so I was virtually hugging the fan on my till!) Looking forward to seeing my brother who is at my parents’ for the weekend. Then a bit of shopping & home to make a tikka masala with Pataks sauce, basmati rice & a giant naan. DD13 is going to a Pride Festival with her friends. DH working too. Might have my first sea swim of the year this evening.

Have hung the washing out as I was organised last night and put the washer on a timer. Firstly had to take the football kit off the washing line which was washed yesterday and left out overnight. Having breakfast in bed now and then getting ready for a hot day in London as we are off to see Wicked.

Tomorrow DD has a football tournament so will be up early to take all the kit to that and to stay and watch. At least I can sit down for that after wandering around London today.

I have 7 reports still to write and have no idea when I'm going to find time to do that before we break up next Friday.

Off to Hull for Barton Bike Day at lunch time did all the housework yesterday so a good day out of motorbikes everywhere

I’m in Birmingham for the weekend for touch my brum, I don’t kick off until about 11. We’ve played really poorly recently, so we’ll probably be battered today.

As I’m child free I’m going to have wild tonight and have a bath and an early night, I cannot wait!

I’m pottering about in the garden, DH is getting DS’s ready and then I think we are heading out to a splash park for the day.

Blasted round the house this morning cleaning and tidying, just have breakfast and a cuppa before I go get ready to sing. Then lunch with my mum followed by a nice sit in the garden (she says optimistically!)

DD slept out last night so we had a gentle start to the day and I got a full nights sleep.
Today is DH's birthday BBQ at his Mums. Which I would normally look forward to but me and DH aren't talking and I'm driving so can't even have a drink to take the edge off things!
@lucysmam what on earth does DD do with her tights for her to need new ones each week?

I am deep conditioning my hair at the moment and about to enjoy my second coffee. Washing on to get ready for holidays next week. Hopefully a bit of a tidy up this afternoon.

I bought myself the Lego flower bouquet with some birthday money last month and I am going to hopefully start it today. Planning an easy tea and then a flop in front of the TV.

I've just delivered the rest of the family to the airport - won't be joining them for a week because of work.

I literally don't know what to do with myself now

I had a lovely weekend planned but have just had my first ever positive covid test 🙄I suppose it was inevitable but the timing is rubbish. Just a sore throat at the moment, fingers crossed it stays that way. At least the tennis is on!

I'm halfway through an 11 hour shift so not much fun although I do get time to go on MN and the office has air con. Dreaming of an evening on the sofa with a takeaway!
