Before the advent of social media. Mumsnet was so much better, so many forums and interest groups. I feel glum about everything, even reddit which used to also be interesting is also a circle jerk of tiktok and twitter reposts mostly. The r/all of reddit now is actually mental, like seriously mental. Any kind of different views are hounded out. Forums are fading fast.
I really hope however different Mumsnet is that it can weather the storm, its important, kind of last post.
I disagree with mn aa lot, lots of interesting threads were censored, there is basically hardly any places online where people are allowed to speak their minds anymore.
