Help! How to clean vomit out of a tumble dryer?!

We've just moved house and inherited their washing machine and tumble dryer. DD was sick multiple times last night and accidentally put her vomit covered bedclothes in the tumble dryer. Which now stinks of vomit 🤢

How do I best clean it??

White vinegar?

Antibacterial spray
Dettol

Antibacterial spray
Dettol

Will that not just mean that the fluid leaks onto the next clothes that go in there?

I think you are going to have to put something in to dry to get rid of the smell after you have wiped as best you can. Some wet towels would be what I would use and maybe something smelly like tumble dryer sheets

Only thing I've ever found to get rid of the smell of vomit is bicarb of soda. Try making a paste with a little water and then scrub inside of drum, then wipe off?

I would soak towels in dettol then dry them in it (after wiping out the sick). I use dettol on dogs bed, cleaning urine leaks around the toilet etc.
