Private room on air B and B - do you feel secure in your own home?

Just that really. Could do with the money but no way to partition it all off, they’d have own room and bathroom on ground floor.

I wouldn’t but you can have locks in every door which helps.

yes I've done it for years. Currently got a guy in my spare room next door who has stayed about 6/7 times before. Make sure you only take people with positive reviews and you should be fine.

@CloseYourEyesAndSee thanks, so they have access to the whole house? Say you charge 100 a night what do air B and B take? Do you have to notify mortgage provider? Sorry lots of questions!

Yes and no it's no use of the living room and the kitchen is only for people who stay a few nights (in fact I don't do that any more and have a 2 night max stay these days)
airbnb take a small % from the host and add a bigger % on to what the guest pays. The % is different depending on the amount so I don't know what they would take from £100 but it's worth doing.
