I'd like to send a little something to some friends of ours, whose DD is in hospital. She's only 1 and has been in ICU several times since she was born with the same infection.
It's made my dear friend very anxious, they almost lost her once and due to her immune system being shot to shit they aren't really able to socialise with other families.
I'd like to send them something to show them we're thinking of them, and that even though we can't be together physically to support/unwind we don't want them to feel alone.
If you were in a similar position, what would you like? I've had a look at care packages online but they're very expensive for what they are. DS has 'drawn' a picture for their DD and we have a card. Something for the parents and something for their DD when she's feeling better and out of hospital?
