Do I need covid pass for France?

We are due to go on a short trip to France next week and are currently sorting out passports, insurance etc. Both myself and my eldest DD have a covid pass, but my eldest DD (25) didnt have her own account on the NHS app as I have LPA for her. We have just tried to sort her pass out and as its a first time application we have had to verify her identity, which according to some sites can take 2 hours. But other sites state it can take up to 7 days - which we don't have!

Is a covid pass still essential for France, travelling via Eurostar please? And if so, what are our options?

Hi not sure re Eurostar but having just arrived via ferry they were checked when leaving uk, but not on arrival, although when my parents came over a few weeks ago they were checked both ways. As far as I know everyone over 12 (I think!) has to have one.

Also just thought I did two online and had the email within a few hours so hopefully it won't take long!

Might be a good idea just in case. You can downoad the NHS app or they will send you a paper copy.

I have the NHS app for myself, but have had to set up a new log in for DD, for which we have to go through the verification process. I’m just worrying it won’t get done in time Sad
