Slightly nutty one- radio in your head

I was thinking about how every time you think you're the only one who does something or experiences something, millions of others are also doing or being those things. Excepting for the outliers, of course.

I currently have Chesney Hawkes singing about being the one and only in my head. The radio changes a lot and I never know what is going to come on now.

Does anyone else have this, or am I an outlier?

I always do. I also make up dance routines in my head when listening to music, totally absent mindedly

Yep always. It gets worse when im stressed, the volume goes up to the point where I could go nuts. Volume is fine today and is currently playing the " Wo wo wo its magic, you know. Never believe its not so" song

I once went through a period of a few weeks with “Oh what a night” on a loop in my head and it was honestly driving me up the wall.
I used to like that song but now I’m convinced it will be playing in the elevators of my own personal hell. 😂

Yes, not all the time, but quite a lot. Sometimes a track gets stuck on repeat, but I can usually clear it by actually listening to the song.

Sometimes it's random, and other times it's things like "best of the eagles"

I have an internal jukebox. Not 24/7 but it's definitely there more than not.

I also have aphantasia though. So no internal movies for me. Close My eyes and all I see is black (or reddish black if its bright outside)

The Juke box plays a lot and it picks up very tangential things to play. But I also walk along the road singing to myself and have a lot of song lyric triggers. Bar Italia by pulp is on frequent play just now but I'm not quite sure what caused it!

Yes, I have a juke box in my head too. It plays all kinds of random songs. Gets a bit spooky when I have a song in my head, turn the radio on and it is playing on the radio too.

Yesterday mine was "Everybody" by the backstreet boys - I don't even know if that's the name of the song but I'm sure you know which one I mean!

I HATE the song, I can't stand them and I hadn't even been listening to the radio or anything so I don't know why it was in my head all day.

Always, yes! And I keep getting a song in my head I've not heard for years. No too sure what it is and it's bugging me.

My internal radio has changed numerous times just from reading this thread.

Yes - total jukebox in my head too. It 'plays' randomly and I'll just find myself singing out loud. Always wake with a tune in my head too.

All the time. DC make fun of me for blurting out a random line from a song. I also have advertising jingles sometimes from years ago, at the moment it's the old Cadburys roses Thank you very much one 😫

Yes, not random though. I normally have one or a small range of songs at a time as current earworms, and they stick around for a while. It's a lot worse when I'm stressed and sometimes drives me slightly mad.
