Emailing the CEO - just how?

It's a phrase I see on here every now and again, and wrongly assumed that it would be quite a simple thing to do, so how can I do it?

I've spent a while bimbling around google and all I can find are companies to pay to get the information - is this what people do? And if I do pay, do they guarantee that it's the right address for the current employment? Or is it big scam thing?

Is there any recommended places to find the information?

What company are you looking for? At mine, everyone's email address is made up of first name, surname @ company (so [email protected]) including the CEO.

Also, if it's a complaint, an email to the company email address but specifically addressed to the CEO gets treated as though you've emailed them directly. This isn't to say they personally deal with it though - they have PA's who do it on their behalf.

Fantastic, thank you - I've got it from the ceoemail.com - it wasn't top of my google list, and to be honest I had already looked at it but somehow missed the info - oops, and thank you again. I think I'm starting to rely too much on mumsnet for all matters of life, the universe and everything.
