Surely boris will have no choice but to resign?

So his ministers are resigning left, right and centre, just how much longer can he seriously keep going for??

I don’t think there will be anybody better to replace him, but I do think given so many people are quitting now that he should do the right thing for the people of this country and go

Sky news have just reported that he is likely to resign and today.

x2boys · 07/07/2022 09:05

kimberly489 · 07/07/2022 09:05

I dont get it though why does he have to resign? Can't he just keep on appointing new and new people again and again? 😮‍💨

He's run out of people to appoint. He's supposed to organise a government. He can't do that. What a massively immoral twat he is.

StrawberryPot · 07/07/2022 09:08

He's just agreed to go

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 07/07/2022 09:08

I will be surprised if he resigns. Not really his style to take any responsibility or to 'do the right thing'.
I still think he might try and pull off a snap election. To take the Tory party down with him.

ConnieSaks · 07/07/2022 09:08

He’s gone!

Ihatethenewlook · 07/07/2022 09:08

I don’t think he’ll ever resign.

Rosebuud · 07/07/2022 09:09

I think he’s going to call a general election. Let them all resign, then scrabble foe their jobs. There is no alternate government forming, so the queen won’t say no.

boris isn’t going to be forced out, he will take them all with him. I’m betting on him asking the queen to dissolve Parliament immediately and he will call a snap election.

ConnieSaks · 07/07/2022 09:09

Wish he had (or at least tried to call) an election!

MarshaBradyo · 07/07/2022 09:10

He’s standing down R4

What happens when he’s run out of MP’s to ask? There’s only a finite amount, if everyone says no to every post, he can’t tu the country.

MrsSkylerWhite · 07/07/2022 09:12

He’s resigned.

Rosebuud · 07/07/2022 09:12

R4 is reporting he’s stepping down! Sky isn’t yet.

curiousitygotthebetterofme · 07/07/2022 09:12

I can’t see anywhere that he’s resigned??

OP posts:
Rosebuud · 07/07/2022 09:13

Sky just reported it.

BalloonsAndWhistles · 07/07/2022 09:13

He’s just resigned. Just seen in on the Telegraph.

TheWristBoundLatexBitch · 07/07/2022 09:14

BBC just reported it

MrsSkylerWhite · 07/07/2022 09:14

Interesting wording though. Resigning “as leader of Conservative party”

does he have to stand down as PM, anyone know?

Rosebuud · 07/07/2022 09:15

Can he stand for leader again in the contest?

curiousitygotthebetterofme · 07/07/2022 09:16

Ok just seen it! Wow!

Well, there isn't anyone left in the cabinet full stop 😁 Larry the cat maybe?

dramalamma · 07/07/2022 09:24

Resigning as leader of the conservatives - staying as pm until autumn! Wtf?

Northernlurker · 07/07/2022 09:37

If he doesn't get his arse out of Number 10 there will be riots. It's going to be really hot in London this week. Dangerous combination.
