Teenager - Headache/Sickness

My DS (14) has sporadic episodes where he gets a sore head, that is then followed by bouts of vomiting every couple of hours. It generally wipes him out for the rest of the day. Is this general 'growing pains/hormones', or should I be worried?

Sounds like a migraine. My DD started getting them when teenage hormones kicked in and they have become much less frequent. Might be worth a trip to the GP though?
