I've been on this for years and recently diagnoaed with Ehlwrs-Danlos, fibromyalgia, chronic migraine and degenerative disc disease. What I had no diagnosis the GP was giving them to me for pain, and Is then take OTC on the days I didn't have prescription.

I ran out on Friday and have decided to stop. After 48 days raised cold turkey was too hard so was recommended to taper using OTC. Today I am taking 12mg x 4 a day.

Anyone who's been through this can say how long it took for the muscle aches to stop? I'm hunched like an old lady. Doing stretches, walking etc but it's just so awful.

Hi op, I'm on these for post operative pain / adhesions. I think it would be best to try and stop gradually if you need to. I find it quite helpful, but take less than you I think. Anyway did you know there is a chronic pain area on here? Quite useful.

I was on co codamol for years and every now and then I had to stop to lower tolerance. The travelling pains are just your body making it up to get it's fix. It takes about 3 / 4 days for me. It does stop though. I stopped completely though.

Thanks , and apologies about typos! I will be in chronic pain re longer term management (luckily I have a place on the specialist EDS multi disciplinary service soon) just trying to work out whether it's worth me sticking this out or if I need to get she proper support. I have more than a sneaky suspicion that there meds are triggering the pain . .

Thank you
