Dog has Tick on Eyebrow

My Labrador has a tick on his eyebrow. I only noticed it tonight as he kept scratching it.
I have a tick remover tool but he won't let me get anywhere near his face with it.
How on earth am I going to remove it?
Incidentally he has flea, worm and tick tablets religiously every month.

peanut butter or similar on your knee (or cling film) and while he's concentrating on licking it off , you get the tick

Ear scratches work for us!
I don’t use the remover though I just pull them out properly with my fingers/nails and make sure I have the wee beggers legs and head!

Put a disposable glove on and just pull it off. Like the peanut butter idea.

I waited till my cat was asleep before getting the tick in her ear. She didn’t even wake up. Maybe dogs are different though? Cat sleeps like she’s dead.

He's the same at the vet, hates people round his face. Let's us hug him tho!
I might try the peanut butter idea tomorrow! Thanks

Couldn't get the tick out, I rang the vet who said it will drop off in a day or so as the dog is on tick and flea tablets. Sure enough there's no sign of it now.
