49.20 kWh, no idea what that is in money as the stupid monitor for the meter doesn't connect to it and the website doesn't show the cost although it's supposed to.

£5.66.

3-bed end of terrace with two adults. We have a small-ish marine fish tank. The washing machine and tumble dryer have both been on once. I work from home on a laptop, DH works from home on a pc with two screens and usually has a second laptop on the go. He works in IT and has probably charged a few devices he's resetting or testing something on. We've watched about 2 hours of tv.

Would you believe this is us on a good day?

7.8kwh which is about £1.60

@chiffchaffchiff why tumble drier? Can't you hang washing outside?
(Disclaimer- weather been great here but not actually seen forecast for rest of UK)

And £2.96 for 4 bed house with 5 of us here. Cook on electric

SheepingStandingUp · 05/07/2022 23:30

Doesn't show me for today yet but £2.04 Monday, but £7.17 Sunday. More washing on, oxygen concentrator on in the morning rather than DS being at school etc.

NeedSleepNow · 05/07/2022 23:30

£1.58, I've been out at work all day, kids have been at school and then out at clubs this evening . Haven't used the dishwasher or washing machine today. Oven was on for 30 minutes and have had the TV on this evening for a little while.

Likely a billion pound today for my house

webuiltthiscityonrockandwheat · 05/07/2022 23:46

£4.46. 2 bed end of terrace cottage. DH works from home and I've been in with the 2 kids all day. Tumble dryer has been on (washing hung out too!) and the car has been charged. We're moving to a bigger house and the cost of electric concerns me a bit

We have two cats and when we don't use the tumble drier it takes forever to get the fur off clean clothes. Easily 3 or 4 times as long as it would to iron the same size load (I don't actually iron but it's the easiest comparison). You'd think the Maine coon was the culprit but most of it is from our British Shorthair.

£5.12

four bed, but we’ve all been out at work and school all day. The washing machine has been on once and the dishwasher once. I haven’t cooked anything, cold tea. No tumble drying. No car charging. Three showers, no baths. Been careful about lights on, have watched tv during the evening.

i don’t understand why mine is so much, the house is not large, we are being careful, and on e day when I do cook or use the dryer it’s £8-9
