Can tinned potatoes be eaten cold?

Today's the day my emergency can of tinned potatoes come into play. Thinking of making a potato salad. Do I need to cook potatoes first or are they ok straight from can?

I don’t know if they’re baby potatoes but they’re definitely small! No skins.
