Party bags and no inspiration of what to put in them

7yr old’s party this weekend and trying to work out party bags. She would like the usual ‘tat’, I don’t really want to buy plastic nik nacks because they get used once and that’s it. She has been to parties where she gets a book and a cupcake but all the children looked a bit disheartened at the books at the end. Ideas gratefully received please!

I'd do one bigger thing now after years of party bags. A frisbee, a fishing net, ball etc

I had great feedback about sweet cones with a little thing of bubbles tied to them.

For DDs 7th party we did a paper kraft bag with the DCs name on it in a nice design and a 'thanks for coming to my party' sticker sealing it. Inside they got a themed bracelet, ring, temp tattoo sheet, sweets, cake and the catchable bubbles.

Other great ones we've had between ds and dd:
DS got a decent sized dinosaur toy and a mini haribo bag and I've never seen him so happy!

A book

Bubble wand (at a 3rd birthday)

Jigsaw

Pamper pack with face mask, nail polish, toe divider, head band, nail stickers/gems and some sweets.

i always theme the party bag to the party. makes it easier to think of ideas and ties it all together.

Flying Tiger is a good place for cheap things that are a bit different.
