I'm not a feminist. I'm not political. i am certainly not racist. I see everyone as equal, and treat people with respect. I treat people the way I would like to be treated.
I don't stand for nonsense. If I see something I do not like when I am out ,if I see someone doing something to another person I will not walk by.
I don't rock boats. I just live my life and try not to offend.
All this talk about labels and pronouns confuses me. I read and don't always understand but sometimes i see things that are weird and I think sometimes people who are trying to/should be doing the right thing get it wrong.
So hear me out.
I was waiting in a line of traffic and noticed the sign outside of a high school.
It read the headmaster was a woman.
Now... surely 'master' is a male as 'mistress' is the equivalent female.
I get why it did not read as headmistress, but why say master?
Wouldn't it have been more appropriate to say headteacher?
Is the world going a bit bonkers.
How come some people can say certain words (to own them) but if others say that word it is racist ? If it is racist, then why is anyone saying it?
We are all having to pay more for food. My bill at the supermarket this Saturday was a shocker. I saw teabags at £3 for 100. There was a bigger box of them containing 160 for £7.80. I bought two boxes of 100 for £6.00. Some people would not look and just pick the bigger box thinking it was more economical.
Why don't they respect us more? When food is more expensive than ever why do supermarkets play these mind games ?
I'm in a funny mood today. I just wish the world was less complicated 🤔
