I'd love some tips. I seem to have too much stuff and the kitchen ends up the place of perpetual chaos. Trying to get rid of stuff. It's hard because with DC you end up with so much crap, lunch boxes etc etc.

Would love tips about how many plates, cups etc you have and does it make a difference to own less. etc. Thanks!

Also any tips on keeping clean / tidy as you go. I cook a lot so it gets chaotic quick!

When we downsized I made sure to only have 4 of everything, I put everything away all the time (we have lots of kitchen cabinets) and I have a dishwasher. Because we've always lived open plan I cannot settle if there is mess. So I'm constantly putting stuff away and cleaning.

Everything is paperless now which has made a huge difference.

It is harder with small children though. My fridge uses to be covered in notes.
