She is a non smoker and hardly drinks; a 37-year-old with two young kids.
She lives in another country, so I can’t be there in person, but what else can I do? Her family is there and supporting her. She lives in a country with a lot of social benefits and has money so that she won’t need anything like that. I asked around for the best treatment in the UK and sent her the details, plus I am going to be sending her little gifts.
This is not about me, but I am so sad - how can this happen?? She’s so healthy. She looks after herself. She eats so well. She has good quality of life
I read online the prognosis is terrible, but she’s optimistic. I can’t stop thinking of her.

Unfortunately that's how cancer is. It can affect anyone any lifestyle. Just be there for her. You find out who your true friends are when you have cancer. They worst thing you can say is nothing.
