Worked 10 til 2. I’m in retail & had some really lovely customers today. A good laugh with a few of them too. My colleague had chocolate buttons so that was another bonus! Home for lunch then a quick trip to Asda with DD13. Chilled out afternoon. I borrowed piano music from the library yesterday & had a go at some of the tunes. One of my colleagues recently got engaged & I offered to record a version of her favourite song. It’s proving trickier than I thought! DH has been on a long cycle. So proud of him. He’s really into it & getting very fit. Unfortunately I’m totally unfit & really want to change that. Having garlic & rosemary lamb steaks, Cornish new potatoes & broccoli for tea. Probably catch up with Greys Anatomy tonight. We were going to watch it last night but ended up putting on “ Saturday Kitchen” instead. I get so inspired by that programme!

My DP isn't well at the mo so I've been doing housework most of the day. Washing towels, cleaned the bathroom, done dishes/cleaned kitchen, sorted out a Tesco delivery. Super lazy but we ordered greggs for lunch as was waiting for food shop and didn't have much in. I just had a chicken roll and a fruit pot. DP had a chicken roll and a caramel custard donut. About to make tea now although not sure what I fancy. DP isn't hungry yet.

Sounds like a nice Sunday. We have been at my daughters school fair. Just put her in the bath to attempt to remove the glitter, facepaint & nail varnish before school tmrw. The head teacher has said they can wear the glittery braids they had done into school tmrw so she’s very excited about that. My son is chilling out and watching TV. H is on his phone watching TikTok. Wish me luck with the face paint removal!

Gardening this morning and returning a lost dog that turned up in my greenhouse. Picked sweet peas for the house and replaced old ones. Filled the tomato watering system up for the week. Picked lunch (apart from the chicken!). New potatoes, peas, french beans, broad beans and kale.

Had an early lunch and then I've watch tennis this afternoon whilst doing some paperwork.

Lots of whatsapping with family too who all live away.

Had a lovely day even though I have been feeling down. Had a long lie in, had brunch and got started on the garden, went to the park with DC then a quick trip to Sainbury's.
Back to gardening, then went to allotment.

Had a lovely hot shower, roast chicken dinner and watching Djokovic inbetween consoling ds who's got Sunday night blues about school!

I've worked a 7.5 hour shift and DH cooked meal earlier. Presently messing about online, watching Wimbledon while DH half dozes!
