West Yorkshire Metro U19 Photocard - ID?

DS starts high school in a week (they have a two week transition period at the end of term), will be getting the bus and will need a U19 photocard. They don’t do scholar or U16 anymore. He is 13 (moving up from middle school rather than primary)and 6’ - he really does need proof of age.

W Yorks Metro say he needs a valid passport or driving licence and proof of address in W Yorks to get a photo card. He doesn’t have a passport, or a paper bank account he’s too young to drive and he doesn’t get any bills in his name! I don’t actually know how to ID him. All we have is a birth certificate. He has premium bonds attached to my account and a “paperless” Go Henry account - also principally in my name.

How do I ID a 13 year old?

PS - I rang the Metro helpline - I advisor said “I’m sure you’ll think of something”. Helpful. The nearest travel centre to get one is 10 miles/30 mins away. I’d like to only need to do one trip.
